Like all you girls I’ve been a polish-addic for a while now. I like to share my polishpast with you.
- First time wearing polish:
- First time experimenting
I ALWAYS used polish on my toes, the nuns of my school could not see that…
- First time nailarting:
When I was 18 I went to art school ( I have a master degree in arts now). There I started to use acryl paint and small markers to draw on my nails. Keeping the manicure intact was a big problem then, the topcoat alwarys smeard the whole design.
- How I met Konad:
3 bottels of polish, 2 plates stamp and scraper ( the black plastic one, better than the metal scraper)
Then I stopped a few years with Konad because my polish chipped after one day… I just used polish and no nail art.
In 2007 I bought a house with my boyfriend (soon to be husband….) We worked every day very hard in it. I went for Acryl nails, and this way you polish can hold up to a week.
A good reason to start with nail art again. Now (I’m 29) we live in our beautiful new house and I enjoy to do my nails on a quit evening.
So for 18years there has not been a day without nailpolish, sometimes only the toes.
I like your littler polish history :) The first time I remember painting my nails was maybe 6 year old, i made such a mess!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWow, 18 years with nail polish! I've only discovered the joys of polish in the last 1 or 2 years, so to me 18 years seems like forever! Great history :)
